What is the mint all about?

Matt Chessco created the world's largest cat painting and turned it into an NFT. You can mint tokens of this NFT and become the co-owner of the painting. 

How many tokens of the NFT are mintable?

Since there are 10,000 Pop Art Cats, there is a maximum of 10,000 mintable tokens. If, at the end of the minting period, only 1,000 tokens have been minted, then the total number of tokens will become 1,000 and it will remain this way forever.

How can I mint tokens of the NFT?

Click the “Mint now” button on the homepage of popartcats.xyz. From there, all you will have to do is follow the steps. 

When is the mint?

The mint will open on October 11th, 2022, at 3pm EST and will close on Friday, October 21st, 2022 at 11:59pm EST. 

Who is eligible for the mint?

Every wallet address that was holding a Pop Art Cat at the moment of the snapshot. Each Pop Art Cat allows you to mint 1 token. 

When is the snapshot?

The snapshot was taken on October 11th, 2022 at 9am EST. 

How many tokens of the NFT can I mint?

You can mint 1 token of the NFT for every Pop Art Cat you were holding when the snapshot was taken. For example, if you had 5 Pop Art Cats in your wallet at the moment of the snapshot, you can mint up to 5 tokens of the NFT.

How much is the mint?

The mint is free + gas fees. You should expect to pay around $8 USD (in Ethereum) in gas fees per token. Since the mint will last about 10 days, we suggest you wait until the gas fees are low to mint. 

Where will my minted NFT appear?

You will be able to trade the NFT on secondary marketplaces like OpenSea. Click here for the official OpenSea link. 

Which ERC Token Standard will the NFT live on?
ERC-721A.

Do I receive the derivatives rights of the NFT?

You are free to use the specific NFT image that you own for commercial purposes up to $50,000 per year. Above that we ask to enter into a more formal licensing agreement. Check the terms of license for more info. 

Does owning a token of the NFT give me access to the high-resolution images?

Yes. To access the high-resolution images of this artwork, simply connect your wallet to our community portal. We will post more info about this later.
